SWIT S-4610 SDI Audio Embedder

The S-4610 is a portable mini converter for the opposite job the S-4609 does: instead of pulling audio out of SDI, it embeds audio in. It accepts up to 3Gb/s SDI video and adds a 2-channel AES/EBU digital feed or two balanced 6.35mm analog inputs, with six front-panel switches choosing which two of the first eight embedded audio positions receive the new signal.

If both digital and analog sources are connected at once, the digital feed takes priority and only that gets embedded, which keeps the routing predictable in a truck or edit bay. Three LEDs confirm power, SDI recognition and successful embedding, and dual reclocked SDI outputs let the newly-embedded signal feed two destinations at once.
