Sony VFH-790 Viewfinder Hood

The VFH-790 is a snap-on hood for Sony's HDVF-EL70 and HDVF-EL75, a pair of 7.4-type HD electronic viewfinders used on Sony's professional camcorders. It shields the viewfinder eyecup from sunlight and stray studio light, so an operator gets a clean, accurate look at focus and framing instead of fighting glare off the screen.

That matters most outdoors and under bright rig lighting - sports coverage, ENG in the field, and studio floors under hard key light - where a bare viewfinder washes out and makes critical focus calls harder to nail.
