Sony SRG-L4K 4K Software License (SRG-X Series)

SRGL-4K unlocks 4K output on Sony's SRG-X400 and SRG-X120 PTZ cameras. The 4K capability is already in the camera; this is the key that turns it on, which is why a room can be specified in HD today and stepped up later without a body swap or a second truck roll.

Once activated the camera delivers 3840 x 2160 at 29.97p over both HDMI and IP streaming. The camera must be on firmware V2.00 or later. Sony supplies the licence as a printed product code with instructions for obtaining an install key; the camera's unique device ID is needed to register that key, so have the target camera's ID to hand. It pairs with Sony's SPTZ-HXU NDI|HX licence where a facility wants 4K and NDI from the same camera.
