HZC-QFR50 is Sony's 4x high frame rate format option for the HDC-3500, HDC-5500 and HDC-P50 system cameras, quadrupling the standard capture rate for extreme slow-motion replay. It's the top tier of the same HFR option family as HZC-DFR50 (2x) and HZC-HFR50, for productions that need a much deeper slow-motion look than a 2x license delivers.

Sony sells it as a permanent one-time purchase applied to the specific camera or CCU it's licensed for, or as a monthly or weekly rental for a single event rather than a standing installation.
