Shure SM57-X2U
The SM57-X2U bundle pairs Shure's workhorse SM57 cardioid dynamic microphone with the X2u XLR-to-USB signal adapter, turning a studio standard into a plug-and-play recording rig. The SM57's cardioid pattern and 40 to 15,000 Hz response have made it a first call for snare, guitar amps, and instruments for decades, and its built-in pneumatic shock mount keeps handling and stand noise down. No mixer or dedicated interface is required.
The X2u adapter digitizes the microphone at 16-bit resolution and up to 48 kHz, and adds a headphone output for zero-latency monitoring plus rotary controls for microphone gain, monitor mix, and output level. It supplies +48V phantom power for use with condenser microphones as well. The bundle ships with the SM57, the X2u adapter, a USB cable, an A25D mic clip, and two storage bags.
