Sennheiser MKE2-K TA5F Lavalier Microphone
The MKE 2-K TA5F is Sennheiser's MKE 2 Gold subminiature omnidirectional condenser lavalier wired for Lectrosonics bodypacks. The capsule is the broadcast and theater workhorse: a sweat-resistant Umbrella Diaphragm behind a small housing, an omni pattern that stays even as the wearer turns their head, and a frequency response that reaches from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz with 142 dB of headroom before overload.
Instead of a Sennheiser or 3.5mm plug, this version terminates in a locking 5-pin TA5F connector that mates directly with Lectrosonics transmitters, so it drops into a Lectro rig with no adapter. It ships in black with an MZQ 222 mic clip and an MZW 2 windscreen for wind and plosive control.
