Sennheiser MKE2-C 1053 Lavalier Microphone
The MKE 2 is Sennheiser's subminiature omnidirectional condenser lavalier, a fixture on broadcast, theater, and film sets for decades. The omnidirectional capsule captures the voice evenly no matter how the wearer turns, so it stays consistent clipped to a lapel or hidden in wardrobe, and it shrugs off the popping and handling noise that catch out directional capsules. A pre-polarized condenser element and a 20 to 20,000 Hz response give it a full, natural voice with detail that survives a busy mix.
This version uses the high-output capsule rated at 31 mV/Pa and terminates in the BFX1053 connector. The black housing disappears against dark wardrobe, and it ships as the bare microphone and cable with no added accessories.
