Sennheiser i42TL-C Gooseneck Microphone System
The i42TL-C is a lectern gooseneck set built on Sennheiser's ME 34 cardioid condenser capsule and configured for installations with a status light ring. The cardioid pattern gives talkers a wide, forgiving working angle while still rejecting sound from behind the microphone, so speech stays natural even as a presenter shifts at the podium. The ME 34 covers 40 to 20,000 Hz with low self-noise.
This version is wired for lightring control: the ME 34 and its windscreen thread onto an MZH 3042L gooseneck seated in an MZTX 30L table base, terminating in a 5-pin XLR so the mount's indicator ring can be driven alongside the audio. It runs on 12 to 48 volt phantom power.
