Sound Control Technologies RC-SDA4+ BYOD Camera Bridge and Extender - RC-SDA4+USM
The Sound Control Technologies RC-SDA4+USM is the RC-SDA4+ BYOD Camera Bridge and Extender. It carries USB 3.0, RS-232 over a single run to 100 meters and delivers 12V DC over the link. That is the job it exists for: putting a PTZ camera at the far end of a room without a rack of converters and a second power run behind it.
The head end presents the far-end device to the room PC over USB, so Zoom, Teams and anything else that expects a standard USB peripheral sees it without a driver. Everything travels on one CAT cable. SCT calls the transport SCTLink. It is ordered in one of several configurations: RC-SDA4+, RC-SDA4+EE4, RC-SDA4+P40, RC-SDA4+UNI, RC-SDA4+URM, RC-SDA4+USM, so confirm which end and which mount you need before the order goes in. Sound Control Technologies publishes no separate spec table for this product; the rows above are the figures stated in its own product copy.
