Sound Control Technologies RC-SDA4+ BYOD Camera Bridge and Extender
The RC-SDA4+ does two jobs at once for RS-232 PTZ cameras. Its SCTLink side sends 12V DC power, video and RS-232 control down a single CAT cable to a camera up to 100 meters away, and its head end presents the result to a computer as USB 3.0, which is what Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other soft codecs want to see. An existing RC4 room gains soft codec capability without touching the camera end.
Order the head end module on its own to add USB to an installed RC4-CE camera box, or order a complete kit that ships both ends with the right camera cabling. The E4P kit covers the Poly EagleEye IV, P40 covers Panasonic AW series cameras including the AW-HE38H, AW-HE42, AW-UE70 and AW-HE130, and UNI covers a long published list spanning AVer, Lumens, Marshall, PTZOptics, Sony, Minrray, VHD and others. Kits include the RC4-CE camera module and the WPS-12 power supply.
