The usual way a PTZ camera or video bar meets a wall is a bracket with a module zip-tied behind it and a service loop hanging in view. The RC-CUBBY replaces that with a recessed backbox set into the wall: the SCT camera-end module or third-party electronics sit inside it, the cabling stays inside it, and a camera-specific mounting plate carries the camera itself on the face.

Each part number is cut for one camera or video bar, so the plate and clamping distance match the hardware rather than approximating it. SCT publishes installation instructions, PDF, CAD and Revit drawings and backbox clamping dimensions for each, which is what makes these specifiable at design stage instead of solved on site.
