Roland VC-1-SH SDI to HDMI Video Converter
The VC-1-SH converts an SDI video and audio signal to HDMI, letting a broadcast or staging SDI feed drive a consumer display, projector, or HDMI recorder. It accepts SD, HD, and 3G-SDI up to 1080p/60 with an SDI thru connector to daisy-chain the source onward, and every connector carries an LED input indicator so an operator can confirm signal at a glance.
The unit also de-embeds the SDI audio to two 1/4-inch TRS jacks, which output either stereo analog or, on the right channel, an AES3 digital stream. Sixteen channels of embedded SDI audio are supported on the way in, and the HDMI output carries up to eight channels, so the picture and its sound stay together across the format change.
