RCF XPS 16KD Four-Channel Touring Amplifier with Dante
The XPS 16KD is the high-power end of the XPS line, aimed at touring racks and large installed systems. Four Class-D channels produce 4000 W each at 2.7 ohms, 2600 W at 4 ohms and 1400 W at 8 ohms, which is enough density to drive a full line array hang from a 2U chassis. Processing is 40-bit floating point at 96 kHz with 32-bit internal routing.
The D suffix is the network: twelve digital inputs over Ethercon and XLR carry Dante and AES/EBU alongside four analog XLR line inputs, with XLR signal outputs and Speakon power outputs. Two programmable GPI and three programmable GPO cover external logic. Response is 20 Hz to 23 kHz within 3 dB, digital signal to noise is better than 115 dB, and distortion at 1000 W into 4 ohms stays under 0.2 percent.
