RCF SUB 18-AX Active 18-Inch Subwoofer

The SUB 18-AX is a 18-inch active subwoofer for touring and event systems that need real low end under a pair of tops. The 18-inch, 4.0-inch voice coil woofer is driven by a Class D amplifier rated 2200 W Peak, 1100 W RMS, reaching 135 dB at one metre. The cabinet is Baltic birch plywood with a steel grille.

The AX version adds RCF's Advanced Crossover Engine presets, so pairing it with an ACE-enabled top is a single selection rather than a delay-and-phase session with a measurement rig. A pole socket on top carries a satellite directly, and the cabinet weighs 42.9 kg / 94.58 lbs.
