RCF KPS 168D 8-Channel Install Amplifier with DSP
The KPS 168D is a compact 8-channel Class D amplifier for fixed installs where the amplifier has to do the processing too. Output is 8 x 160 W @ 4 ohm , 8 x 160 W @ 8 ohm , 4 x 320 W @ 8 ohm (bridge), and each channel can also drive a 100 V or 70 V constant-voltage line (4 x 320 W @ 100 V), so the same box serves low-impedance monitors and a distributed ceiling run without an extra transformer stage.
The onboard DSP carries RCF speaker presets, priority routing, and programmable general purpose inputs and outputs, configured from PC software over Ethernet (Ethernet). The D version adds Dante audio networking, so the amplifier takes its channels straight off the network alongside its analogue and S/PDIF inputs. Protections cover short circuit, thermal, DC, and very high frequency conditions.
