QSC KW181 18 Inch Powered Subwoofer

The KW181 is the subwoofer in QSC's KW Series, an 18 inch cone transducer in a 15 mm painted birch cabinet driven by the same 1000 W Class D module the rest of the line uses. It reaches 40 Hz at -6 dB and 135 dB peak, and a DEEP LF mode plus a polarity switch let it be tuned to the room and to any other subs stacked with it.

A threaded pole receptacle on top takes the included KW Series speaker pole, so a KW122, KW152 or KW153 stacks directly above the sub in a two-piece rig with nothing else to carry. Low-noise casters and cast aluminum handles cover load-in, and dual XLR/quarter-inch inputs with full-range XLR outputs pass signal on to the tops. GuardRail amplifier protection, thermal and excursion limiting, and a 5 minute auto-standby run in the background.
