QSC KW122 12 Inch Powered Loudspeaker

The KW122 is the multipurpose 12 inch box in QSC's KW Series, a 12 inch cone driver and a 1.75 inch compression driver in a 15 mm painted birch cabinet, driven by a 1000 W Class D module split 500 W to each section. Directivity Matched Transition holds a 75 degree axisymmetric pattern through the crossover so the coverage does not narrow or brighten off-axis, and Intrinsic Correction voicing flattens the bandpass before the signal reaches the drivers.

The cabinet is cut for two jobs: a 35 mm Tilt-Direct pole socket aims it 7.5 degrees down from a stand or off a KW181, and the same box lays over as a floor monitor. Channel A takes mic or line level with a four-position gain switch, so a single vocal mic can run straight into the speaker without a mixer. M10 points accept the KW M10 Kit for flown installs, and GuardRail protection plus thermal and excursion limiting guard the module and the drivers.
