QSC KLA12 Active Line Array Loudspeaker
The KLA12 is the full-range element of QSC's KLA fixed-arcuate line array, a 12 inch cone driver and a 1.75 inch compression driver on a multiple-diffraction waveguide, powered by a 500 W by 500 W Class D module inside an impact-resistant ABS cabinet. Each box is fixed at 90 by 18 degrees, so five of them build a 90 by 90 degree array where most systems need six, and the low end reaches 44 Hz without a subwoofer under it.
The SOLO rigging system is what makes the KLA quick: enclosures lift, click together and lock with no tools and no external hardware, and Ar-Q array equalization retunes the whole hang from one dial once you tell it how many boxes are flying. A Tilt-Direct 35 mm pole socket aims a ground stack 9 degrees down, and an array of up to five KLA12 and two KLA181 enclosures flies from the KLA AF12 frame or the integrated M10 points. DEEP DSP extends the bass, GuardRail limiting keeps the amplifier out of hard clip, and up to five KLA enclosures share a single 15 A, 120 V circuit.
