Prompter People Flex Undercamera 12
The Flex Undercamera 12 puts a 12 inch prompting monitor directly below or in front of the lens instead of behind a beamsplitter, for shooting situations where a traditional glass rig does not fit -- jib arms, Chromatte LiteRings, and tight ENG-style setups. Talent reads the script straight off the screen rather than through glass, so the rig sets up fast and stays out of the shot.
It ships with Flip-Q Pro prompting software for PC and Mac on a USB dongle, mounting hardware sized for cameras from palmcorders to ENG bodies, a riser for smaller cameras, and a padded soft case, plus a 3-year limited warranty. The monitor runs on 12V DC at up to 12 watts from the included AC adapter or a compatible battery, and reads clearly out to about 12 feet. The HighBright version swaps in a 1000 NIT panel with a 3G-SDI loop-through for sunlit or high-glare sets, on the same 2x HDMI, VGA and composite input set.
