Panasonic Lumix S5 Body Full-frame
The Lumix S5 is a compact full-frame mirrorless body built around a 24.2-megapixel 35mm CMOS sensor and the Leica L-Mount. Dual Native ISO lets the sensor read out at two base sensitivities for cleaner low-light capture, and the camera records 4K (3840 x 2160) up to 60p for hybrid shooters who move between stills and video on the same job. Panasonic rates it for 14+ stops of dynamic range in V-Log/V-Gamut, so footage grades alongside the VariCam and other Lumix S cameras.
Inside a magnesium-alloy chassis, the S5 runs a 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 stabilizer good for up to 6.5 stops, a free-angle 3.0-inch 1,840,000-dot touchscreen, and a 2,360,000-dot OLED viewfinder. The body is splash and dust resistant and takes two SD cards, with Slot 1 supporting the faster UHS-II bus. It ships as a body only for shooters supplying their own L-Mount glass.
