Panasonic Leica DG Elmarit 200mm F2.8 Power O.I.S. Lens with 1.4x Teleconverter

The LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm / F2.8 / POWER O.I.S. is a fast 400mm equivalent prime for sport and wildlife. It is a Micro Four Thirds lens, so the 200mm focal length frames like 400mm on a 35mm camera, and the optical formula runs 15 elements in 13 groups (2 UED). It is built to the Leica DG optical standard Panasonic applies to its higher-tier glass.

Maximum aperture is F2.8, closing to F22, the diaphragm has 9 blades in a circular iris, and it focuses to 1.15m. Maximum magnification is 0.2x (0.4x, 35mm equivalent), the filter thread is 77mm, and the lens measures 87.5mm max diameter x approx. 174mm length at approx. 1245g (excluding caps and hood). Panasonic bundles the DMW-TC14 1.4x teleconverter, taking the lens to 280mm (560mm in 35mm terms). A physical aperture ring is fitted.
