OBSBOT Tail Air NDI PTZ Streaming Camera
The Tail Air packs a 4K PTZ camera into one of the smallest bodies in its class, built for churches, classrooms, and small studios that need multiple network cameras without racks of gear. It shoots up to 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps through an 8-piece lens with an f/1.8 aperture and 2 micron pixel size for low-light scenes, with Time-of-Flight autofocus keeping distant subjects sharp. AI tracking follows people, and OBSBOT extended its animal-tracking model to cats, dogs, and horses alongside general object tracking, so the camera can hold a subject without an operator riding the joystick.
Output is where the Tail Air earns its keep: it streams native NDI alongside Micro HDMI, USB-C (webcam/UVC mode with data and power), and Ethernet with PoE support, so one Cat5e run can power the camera and carry the video feed to a switcher or NDI-aware software mixer. Gesture Control 2.0 handles zoom and start/stop recording without touching the camera, and wireless connectivity rounds out the placement options for a camera meant to disappear into a ceiling or wall mount.
