Middle Things Fiber Camera Box PTZ 12G

The Fiber Camera Box PTZ 12G takes the same dual-channel SDI-over-fiber design as the standard Camera Box 12G and adds a 1G LAN port, consolidating 4K SDI in, SDI out, and IP camera control into one Neutrik OpticalCON Duo fiber connection instead of three separate cables. That LAN port is what makes it suited to PTZ camera control, supporting the Blackmagic Camera Control and Talkback protocol over the same fiber run.

Master and Slave versions are functionally identical; the distinction is purely in pairing. A Slave unit connects to a Master, whether that's another Camera Box 12G Master or a Fiber Dispatch 4 PTZ, and two units of the same type cannot connect to each other. Choose the version that matches what's already on the other end of the run.
