Martin MAC Viper Wash DX 1000W Moving Head Wash
The MAC Viper Wash DX takes the Viper chassis and 1000 W short-arc source and turns it into a wash head that puts out 33,000 lumens. The optical train drops the gobo wheels for a 1:5 zoom running 13.5 to 59 degrees, so one rig of fixtures can go from a tight beam over a band to a full stage wash without a lens change. CMY mixing is independently variable 0 to 100 percent, backed by a 7-filter dichroic color wheel and a CTO channel that moves color temperature between 3200 and 6000 K.
Because it shares the Viper body, it hangs, cables and travels with Viper Profile and Viper Performance on the same truss. Pan and tilt cover 540 and 268 degrees, control is 18 or 24 DMX channels over 5-pin XLR, and power is Neutrik powerCON at 120 to 240 V drawing 1225 W typical with a 0.99 power factor. Lamp life is rated at 750 hours. This listing is the single-unit cardboard box, P/N 90233070; a two-unit flightcase pack, P/N 90233080, is available on request.
