Marshall VMD72 Dual 7-inch Rack Monitor
The V-MD72 is the base model of Marshall's dual 7-inch rack monitor: two 800x480 LED-backlit LCDs side by side in a single 3RU frame, each rated at 450 cd/m2 with a 600:1 contrast ratio and a 16:10 aspect that auto-adapts to the resolution of the incoming signal. It is the frame itself - the version you buy when you want to choose your own inputs rather than take a factory pairing.
Each screen has one modular input slot, and the modules are ordered separately: MD-3GE for 3G/HD-SDI with loop-through, MD-HDSDIx2-B for two channels of HD-SDI, MD-HDIx2-B for two channels of HDMI, or MD-DVII-B for DVI-I. Because they swap in the field, a rack can be re-purposed as a facility changes formats instead of being replaced. A LAN 100 port with a built-in web server lets an engineer monitor and configure units over IP from a browser, and each screen carries the full production toolset: status display, false color filter, markers, freeze, color temperature presets, RGB gain and bias, pixel-to-pixel, blue gun, user-definable function buttons, and tally by LED or on-screen text of up to 16 characters. It runs on 12 VDC through a 2-pin twist-lock connector.
