Manfrotto Small Base with Universal Head, 29" Diameter Footprint

The 299BBASE is a Manfrotto camera head, the part of the support that does the aiming once the legs are set. Locks and drag controls fall under the operating hand so framing changes without touching the tripod.

It works between 28 cm and 28 cm, carries up to 40 kg and mounts gear on a 1 1/8" (28mm) socket, 5/8" (16mm) stud, 3/8" screw attachment. Construction is steel and it weighs 4.8 kg.
