Lowell JR410 4-Inch Cone Speaker Driver
The JR410 is a 4-inch single-cone driver on the commercial 5-inch E.I.A. frame, built for paging and background music in offices, public buildings and institutional facilities. It handles 15 watts RMS at 8 ohms, runs 67 Hz to 16 kHz within 6 dB (53 Hz to 20 kHz within 8 dB), and averages 90.8 dB SPL at 1W/1m.
Its 170-degree conical dispersion is what makes it work under a low ceiling, where a narrower driver would leave holes between speakers. Behind the treated-cloth-surround paper cone sit a 1-inch voice coil and a 10 oz strontium ferrite ceramic magnet, on a zinc-plated 20-gauge stamped steel frame measuring 5.00 inches across with a 4.72-inch bolt circle and 2.12 inches of mounting depth. Grille and enclosure are ordered separately.
