Lexicon PCM92 Stereo Reverb and Effects Processor
The PCM92 is the single-rack Lexicon hardware processor, carrying 28 studio-standard reverbs, delays, and modulation effects and more than 1200 factory presets. These are the algorithms engineers reach for when a plate or a hall has to sound like the record, and having them on dedicated hardware keeps them off the CPU and available to any console or DAW in the room.
Audio comes in and out on two channels of balanced analog, on both XLR and 1/4 inch, plus two channels of AES/EBU on XLR, running 44.1 to 96 kHz with 32-bit floating point processing. An external BNC word clock input locks it to a house reference. Control is by MIDI, Ethernet, or foot controller for preset changes and live parameter moves, and a high-resolution OLED display handles the front-panel editing.
