Leader LV5350 SER21 Software License Option

The LV5350-SER21 is a closed caption option for the LV5350 waveform monitor. Installed as a license, it decodes the caption and subtitle data carried in the SDI signal and displays it directly on the instrument, so an operator can confirm captions are present and correct without a separate decoder.

It handles the common broadcast caption standards, including EIA/CEA-608 and CEA-708 closed captions and OP-47 (Teletext) subtitles. Because it is a software option keyed to the host unit, it adds caption monitoring to an existing LV5350 in the field with no added hardware.
