Leader LV5300-SER28 Software Option, Field-Installable

The LV5300-SER28 opens up 4K on the LV5300 waveform monitor, adding support for UHD and 4K DCI video carried over 12G-SDI single link. With it installed, the instrument can lock to and analyze 3840x2160 and 4096x2160 signals that a base LV5300 cannot see, using the same waveform, vector, and picture displays it applies to HD.

The 12G-SDI signal is handled on input terminal 1, and 4K formats follow the SMPTE ST 2082-10 and ST 2036-1 standards. The option also unlocks 12G-SDI test-pattern output when paired with the LV5300-SER24 generator. It is the gateway option for any LV5300 that needs to work in a 4K facility, and it is offered identically on the LV5350 and LV7300.
