Lastolite Magnetic Background Support

Collapsible backgrounds have a sprung steel rim, and this support uses it: magnets take hold of the rim anywhere along its edge, so the background hangs from an ordinary lighting stand with no clamps, clips or drilled holes.

Repositioning is a matter of lifting the panel off and putting it back where you want it, which matters when you are working alone and adjusting the height between setups. It weighs 0.25 kg and lives in a pocket of the background bag.
