Kramer CRS-PlugNView-DP Active Optical Armored DisplayPort Cable
The CRS-PlugNView-DP is the DisplayPort member of Kramer's PlugNView armored cable line, built for the same abuse the HDMI version is: road cases, load-ins, and repeated coiling that would crush an ordinary fiber jacket. Inside a black TPU sheath sits a corrugated stainless steel tube with Kevlar reinforcement wrapped around OM3 50/125um fiber, rated to 2000N (450lbs) of short-term crush resistance and 800N (180lbs) of short-term tensile strength.
Electrically it is an active optical cable running 8K@60Hz at up to 32Gbps over runs to 100m, powered entirely from the DisplayPort connector's own current (under 0.25W) with no external supply or separate extender box. HDCP 1.4/2.2, HDR-10, and Dolby Vision all pass through, along with Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, DVD Audio, and SA-CD.
