Klark Teknik DN9652 Dual Network Bridge Format Converter
The DN9652 converts between two third-party digital audio networks rather than between a network and AES50. Both interfaces run in their own clock domain, joined by a bidirectional asynchronous sample rate converter, so a Dante system and a MADI system can be married without either being slaved to the other.
Two module expansion slots take the KT-MADI and KT-DANTE64 network modules and follow the industry-standard Cirrus CM-1 format, so the frame outlives the protocol. Up to 64 channels cross in each direction. A 1 ppm temperature-controlled crystal oscillator provides the internal clock, and word clock in, word clock out and black burst in are fitted alongside a control port.
