Kinefinity KineEVF2 Full-HD OLED Viewfinder

The KineEVF2 is Kinefinity's second-generation electronic viewfinder, built around a full-HD micro-OLED panel rather than the SD or 720p glass most eyepieces in this class still use. At 1080p and 16 million colours it resolves enough detail to pull focus by eye, which is the whole argument for an eyepiece over a monitor when the sun is up or the operator is on the shoulder.

It weighs 350 grams, so a one-person crew can leave it on the camera without rebalancing the rig, and a full crew can hand the camera off without treating the finder as a separate build. The optical path and the video processing platform are both new against the first generation, which is where the sharpness and the colour accuracy come from.
