JBL Professional JBL EON718S 18-inch powered subwoofer

The EON718S is the subwoofer for the EON700 system: a custom 718G 18-inch woofer on a 3-inch coil, 1,500 W peak of Class D power, and useful output down to 31 Hz at -10 dB. The crossover point is selectable at 80, 100 or 120 Hz from the front panel, so it lines up with whichever EON700 top you have on the pole.

A 2-channel digital mixer, parametric EQ, polarity inversion and speaker delay are reached from the backlit colour screen or the JBL Pro Connect app. The cabinet is 18 mm birch plywood in JBL's DuraFlex finish with a steel grille, an M20 threaded pole cup and two handles; cabinets stack, which is what you want when you are building a cardioid pair. It weighs 78 lb.
