JBL Professional JBL Control 5 Two-way compact control monitor loudspeaker

The Control 5 is a compact wide-range monitor intended to be the main sound source in a small room. A 165 mm woofer and a 25 mm tweeter cross at 3 kHz in a moulded polypropylene structural-foam cabinet with a shielded magnet structure, so it can sit near a screen.

Power capacity is 175 W pink noise with an integral protection network, sensitivity 89 dB, and maximum output 111 dB continuous. Note it is a 4 ohm cabinet. Terminals are spring-loaded, the grille is zinc-plated steel, and there are quarter-inch-20 accessory attachment points on the rear - no bracket is supplied. An external amplifier is required.
