IDX IA-70a Power Supply

The IA-70a is IDX's single-output AC power supply for professional cameras: a compact 70W adapter with one 4-pin XLR output for running an ENG or studio camera off the mains. It delivers a nominal 14.5V DC, adjustable across a 14.3 to 15.8V range, at up to 4.8A, and its universal 100-240V input lets it travel anywhere without a voltage switch. Low ripple output keeps it from injecting noise into nearby gear.

The unit sits in a rugged, well-ventilated metal housing with an integrated carry handle, and automatic over-voltage, over-current, and thermal protection guard whatever is plugged into it. At about 1.65 lbs it is easy to keep on a cart or in a kit bag. The 4-pin XLR power cable is not included; IDX suggests a cable such as the Swit S-7102.
