HK Audio POLAR 12 MK2 Active Column PA System

The POLAR 12 MK2 is the larger column system, built on a 12-inch powered subwoofer instead of the ten. The column and spacer are unchanged, six 3-inch drivers and a 1-inch compression driver on a constant directivity horn in a low-resonance aluminium housing, covering 120 by 30 degrees at 130 dB peak. The bigger sub takes response to 35 Hz at -10 dB, which is the reason to pick it over the 10 MK2.

Power is the same Class D biamped 500 W RMS and 2000 W peak, crossed at 180 Hz. Two XLR/jack combo inputs, a 1/4-inch instrument input, stereo RCA and Bluetooth 5.0 with True Wireless Stereo cover the sources, and an XLR mix output links a second system. The DSP offers Music, Voice and DJ presets, five user slots, delay, a three-band EQ with semi-parametric mids and a dimmable LCD. A sub cover and a column transport bag are in the box, and the complete system weighs 62.8 pounds.
