GUIL TMD-570 Line Array Lifting Tower
The TMD-570 is GUIL's compact-design tower for lifting a line array system into the air, built around an electric motor-driven lifting mechanism instead of a purely manual crank. It is certified for outdoor use under European norm EN 13814 and rated to withstand wind up to 8 on the Beaufort scale, so it stays on the approved-for-outdoor list for touring and festival work, not just indoor installs.
The structure breaks down into five 1,500 mm trapezoidal truss sections and two aluminium head beams, folding to a 2.10 m stowed height and 3.68 cubic meter stowed volume for transport. Folding front legs with side stabilizers and screw-jack levelers set up on uneven ground, and the head tilts 5 degrees for line array positioning. Aluminium and steel construction in a black finish keeps net weight to 373 kg on four 150 mm braked wheels.
