Gator Frameworks Low Profile Broadcast Boom
Most broadcast arms solve the audio problem and create a video one: a black tube across the middle of the shot. This one is built low, staying below the shoulder line so the host or guest is in full view during a livestream or a video podcast, while the mic still gets where it needs to be.
It clamps to a desk up to 2.17 in thick and gives 33 in of arm extension, 360 degrees of rotation and 90 degrees of vertical movement, all with silent operation so repositioning mid-take does not land on the recording. An integrated cable channel with a magnetic cover hides the XLR or USB run, and the threading fits both US 5/8-27 and Euro 3/8-16 mics.
