The tubing is black powder-coated square aluminium, which keeps it light to carry while holding a stated 375 lb, and EVA foam padding on every contact surface stops the instrument sliding and keeps the finish unmarked. The 22 in front-to-back depth means a sustain pedal and a volume pedal both fit under it without fouling the frame.
