Gator Cableworks Backline 6-Channel Drop Snake with 2 Returns
A drop snake is what keeps six mic lines and two monitor feeds from becoming eight separate cables crossing a stage. This one puts six XLR sends and two quarter-inch TRS returns into a low-profile inline steel box (12.88 x 2.88 x 2.38 in) with locking XLR connectors, so it sits flat behind a drum riser or under a keyboard rig instead of standing up to be tripped over.
Conductors are 99.99 percent oxygen-free copper with double shielding for a 100 percent shielding factor, and every connector is numerically labelled on both the box and the fantail so patching is a matter of reading, not tracing. Three lengths: 20 ft at 3.8 lb, 30 ft at 4.6 lb and 50 ft at 6.0 lb.
