This case is cut to the Allen and Heath Qu-5 and Qu-5D Dante 38-channel mixer, so the console drops into a cavity built to its footprint - 18.7 x 17.3 x 8.4 in - rather than a universal foam-and-strap fit. The shell is 9mm plywood with a laminated exterior, reinforced ball corners and commercial-grade plated hardware, and an aluminum valance keeps the lid aligned tight to the base.

Choose by workflow. The doghouse version adds a rear compartment so the loom stays plugged in and coiled between load-out and the next load-in, and rides on smooth-rolling lockable casters; it measures 21.25 x 36.5 x 13.5 in and weighs 62.2 lb. The NDH version drops the doghouse for a lighter, more compact case at 21.25 x 26.75 x 11.5 in and 30 lb - the right call if the console gets carried more often than it gets rolled. Both use Gator red recessed twist latches and spring-loaded rubber grip handles.
