Feelworld TP13A Wide-Angle Teleprompter

The TP13A is the wide-angle member of the Feelworld prompter line, and the number that matters is 24 mm: the hood and the glass aperture are cut so a lens that wide still sees a clean frame instead of the edge of the box. The beamsplitter is a 70/30 coating, weighted toward transmission so the camera keeps the light and the talent still gets a legible reflection. The body is metal rather than moulded plastic, which is why it weighs 1.475 kg and why the glass stays square after a season of load-ins.

The base telescopes, giving 60 mm of height adjustment between 240 and 300 mm so the glass can be centred on lenses of different heights, and the rig shoots vertically as well as horizontally. A phone or a tablet up to 11 inches mounts below the glass as the prompting display. Scripts run from the Feelworld app on Android or iOS, and the Bluetooth remote controls speed, file selection and play or pause from up to 100 m away, so a director can drive the script from the back of the room.
