Electro-Voice UW30 Underwater Loudspeaker

The UW30 is Electro-Voice's underwater loudspeaker, and it works differently from most: instead of sealing a conventional driver behind a window, the waterproof barrier itself is the radiating surface. The result is fuller-range sound from a single submerged source than the usual approach manages.

It is used for synchronised swimming, water shows, competitive training and pool programme audio. The cable enters through a waterproof gland, the housing is white, and it presents an 8 ohm load rated at 30 W, so a small install amplifier drives one or a pair without any special provision.
