Electro-Voice Sx600PI Weather-Resistant Loudspeaker

The Sx600PI is the tall one in the Sx family: a dual-element vertical array in a single high-density polymer enclosure, built for stadiums, plazas and other long-throw outdoor jobs where one cabinet has to carry a long way and stay intelligible. Sensitivity is 105 dB at 1 W and 1 m, which is what lets it reach 139 dB calculated peak without an unreasonable amplifier.

It is rated to IEC 529 IP44 and Mil Spec 810 for weather, wired through an SJO cable and gland nut rather than an exposed connector, and carries EN54-24 Type B certification for voice-alarm work. The SuperSAM mounting system is included. Choose the plain 8 ohm PI, or the PIX with the 600 W internal transformer for a 70 V or 100 V distributed line.
