Electro-Voice RE520-RC3 Thread-On Wireless Microphone Head with RE520 Supercardioid Condenser Capsule

The RE520-RC3 is a thread-on vocal microphone head that screws onto a wireless handheld transmitter in place of its factory capsule. It uses the standard 1.25 inch, 28-thread-pitch coupling with three contact rings, so it fits Electro-Voice RE3 handhelds and other transmitters built to the same convention. The RE520 self-biased condenser element gives a supercardioid pattern, an internal shock mount isolates it from handling noise, a multistage pop filter tames breath blasts, and a two-position high-pass filter switches between flat and a 150 Hz roll-off. Frequency response runs 50 Hz-20 kHz.

The finish is black polyurethane paint. It weighs 4.6 oz (130 g). Clipping (max SPL) is 139 dB SPL (1% THD). Self noise is 22 dB SPL "A" weighed (0 dB=20 μPa).
