Electro-Voice RE3-RE420 Wireless Handheld System

The RE420 is the condenser head in the RE3 range, and the one to specify when the source deserves more detail than a dynamic will give it - a solo vocalist, a piece of theatre, a worship service where the top end has to stay open. Electro-Voice describe the voicing as a warm low end, open mid-range and clear highs, with a cardioid pattern for isolation.

Underneath, it is the same platform as the rest of the family: an RE3-HHT metal-body transmitter with a threaded coupling, and an RE3-RX true-diversity receiver with frequency scanning and infrared sync. Choose your band at order time - 5L and 5H tune across 36 MHz with 1440 channels, 6M sits at 653 to 663 MHz.
