Electro-Voice RE3-HHT420 Wireless Handheld Transmitter
The RE3-HHT420 is the RE3 handheld transmitter fitted with the RE420 condenser cardioid head. The RE420 is a condenser: rich, detailed and full-bodied, with the warmth that suits a solo voice in a quieter room. It is the transmitter half of the system: pair it with an RE3-RX diversity receiver, or add it as a second or third handheld on a rack that already has one.
The body is metal, the head threads on, and RF output is switchable between a low and a high setting so a crowded room and an empty one can be handled differently. Setup runs off the RE3 clear-frequency scan and the infrared sync that copies the receiver's channel across. Order the band that suits your area: 5L and 5H each tune across 36 MHz with 1440 selectable frequencies, and 6M covers the 10 MHz gap at 653 to 663 MHz with 400. Runs on two AA cells.
