Electro-Voice ND76-RC3 Thread-On Wireless Microphone Head with ND76 Cardioid Capsule
The ND76-RC3 is a thread-on vocal microphone head that screws onto a wireless handheld transmitter in place of its factory capsule. It uses the standard 1.25 inch, 28-thread-pitch coupling with three contact rings, so it fits Electro-Voice RE3 handhelds and other transmitters built to the same convention. The ND76 dynamic element gives a cardioid pattern from a large Mylar diaphragm, a hydrophobic cloth membrane keeps moisture and debris off that diaphragm, and a humbucking coil attenuates AC hum. Output impedance is 1000 ohms.
The finish is black polyurethane paint. It weighs 6.5 oz (184 g). Maximum SPL is 135.5 dB SPL (1% THD). Power requirements is 4-8 VDC.
